A non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of senior residents in the Cartwright-Roblin Municipality. SSCMR offers a variety of recreational programs and essential support services designed to promote well-being, independence, and community connection.

SSCMR provides engaging opportunities for seniors to stay active, social, and informed:

  • Day Trips - Organized outings to local attractions, events, and scenic destinations.

  • Entertainment & Activities - Social gatherings for fun and connection.

  • Health & Safety Workshops - Sessions wellness and emergency preparedness.

SSCMR also offers practical services to help seniors maintain independence and access essential resources:

  • Handi-Van Transportation - Available for hire with or without a driver.
    Rates: $1/km + $15/hr for driver

  • Local Errand Assistance - Grocery, mail, medications, and other deliveries.

  • ERIK Kits (Emergency Response Information Kits) - Vital health information in emergencies.

  • Short-Term Parking Permits - Available for temporary use for medical and other trips out of the area.

  • South Central Cancer Resource (SCCR) - Support for individuals and families affected by cancer.
